Youth Services
Family and Community Services fund a small number of providers to deliver services to young men and women in communities throughout New Zealand.
Youth Services involve the provision of meaningful structured and preventative programmes to support at risk youth; this can include:
- supporting youth to engage in positive community activities
- personal development programmes covering anger management, self esteem building, taking responsibility
- mentoring and/or role modelling
- structured activity programmes e.g. holiday programmes
