Northland Hip Hop Dance

Northland Hip Hop Dance will provide holiday programmes in January 2010 (Monday 11th to Friday 15th and Monday 18th to Friday 22nd , and Monday 25th to Friday 29th January) targeting 11-13 year olds.

Programmes run from 9am to 1pm. The day’s activities are hip hop dance and then an alternate activity which may include:

• Water pedal bike riding 
• Water activites 
• Hip hop choreography 
• Hip hop dancing – large group, small group 
• Kapa haka 
• Drama production of local myths and legends 
• Trust building games/ice breakers 
• Sports and games – basketball, volleyball, touch rugby, etc 
• Visual arts and crafts – in connection with drama production, making of costumes, backdrops, etc
• Maori craft
• Martial arts

The programme will be located at Hard Core Dance Studio, 59A Bank Street, Whangarei.
