Manukau Leisure

Manukau Leisure will be providing holiday programmes to 14-17 year olds by utilising existing resources, various facilities and public parks throughout Manukau city. Programmes will be targeting the Papatoetoe, Otara, Mangere, Clendon and Manurewa communities. Participants are to be picked up from various parts of Manukau and transported by bus to their day’s activity. Locations for pick up are:

• Te Matariki Clendon Community Centre
• Otara Leisure Centre
• Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa Leisure Centre (Mangere)
• Manurewa Recreation Centre
• Allan Brewster Recreation Centre (Papatoetoe)

Manukau Leisure will deliver a varied programme of sports, games, swimming and urban dance. Activities include; flipperball, touch rugby, music, hip hop, indoor sports, leadership workshop, swimming, raft building, bombing competitions, and team building activities.

Programmes run 2pm to 6pm on:

• Monday 11th January to Friday 15th January 2010
• Monday 18th January to Friday 22 January 2010
• Monday 12th April to Friday 16th April 2010
