Mangare East Family Service Centre

Mangere East Family Service Centre will run two holiday programmes one in January (Tuesday 19th to Friday 22nd January 2010) and one in April School holidays for 11-13 year olds. The programme is being delivered in Mangere.

The Programme will run from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, beginning the day with physical activity, then morning tea, then art/craft activities, lunch, then more physical activity, afternoon tea, and then group competitions.

The physical activity would be sport specific e.g. Netball or League, and teach basic skills and drills. The art/craft sessions will include activities such as Aerosol art, hip hop dance or other alternative activities. Programmes will change based on passions and skills of those involved. Group competitions include things like Top Town, obstacle races, relays, egg and spoon races, etc.
