A five-year framework for addressing issues of violence in Māori communities. It builds on and complements the many positive initiatives already underway.
Resources spread the messages being collected from whānau. They include DVDs, posters, booklets, pass-along cards, ads and stories in Māori media, pens and fans.
The Māori Reference Group provides strategic advice to government on the policies, services and initiatives that impact on Maori in New Zealand.
This fund is now part of the Family-Centred Services Fund.
