SKIP - Strategies with Kids - Information for Parents
The SKIP vision is that all children will be raised in a positive way. This involves parents loving and nurturing their children, as well as setting boundaries to guide and teach them.
SKIP is supporting parents to bring up their children in a positive way, using love and nurture and limits and boundaries.
We do this through the:
- Local Initiatives Fund
Funding and supporting community organisations to develop collaborative projects that support and inform parents
- Resources
Developing resources for parents and the organisations that support them
- Working in partnership with national organisations to build their capacity to support parents
The SKIP project team is based at the Family and Community Services office in Wellington.
