Manukau City is the southern-most of the four cities making up the Auckland region. The district covers an area of 55,200 hectares between the Manukau Harbour to the west and the Tamaki Strait to the east.
This community report provides the foundation for developing an action plan to respond to the community’s identified priority areas. Although the report focuses on the priority areas of concern, what shouldn’t be ignored are the many strengths that can be found throughout the community.
The report provides a baseline that measures progress on existing initiatives. It also provides a catalyst for developing new initiatives to improve the wellbeing of Manukau City’s families.
