Family Services Directory keeps social services in touch

The online Family Services Directory is celebrating its sixth year of helping connect New Zealanders with organisations that provide social services.

The directory lists providers that offer family-related services around New Zealand. Users can search for services in their area using key words and service type (for example, health, education, or legal advice).

With over 5000 providers listed, it can be a challenge to keep the directory accurate and up to date. The directory has an automatic reminder function that prompts directory staff to contact providers – and they make thousands of calls a year to confirm organisations’ listings are accurate.

Organisations can apply for a listing and update their information online. If your organisation is not already listed, the directory team would love to hear from you – it’s free and is a great way to connect you with the people you want to help.
