Whānau Ora pass along cards

Māori family violence service providers were given ‘pass along cards’ that have positive and easily understood messages.  Demand for the cards has been high.  Here are some comments that the Community Relations team have received about the cards:

"The cards are wonderful resources to both clientele and staff. Everyone that I have handed these to have had great reactions. They are positive and practical.

I have even had these with me at community or agency meetings and have been asked about them. One really great idea we had was giving these to the local police or probation or prison guards who could then hand them out to their clientele. Some people have often asked for more, but I can only afford to give people one set…and hide the rest for others, because everyone loves them.

They are a hit and I’d like to order lots more!", Muri James - Integrated Service Co-ordinator.

"The pass along cards are wonderfully positive. I have handed them to staff and clients who stop and smile.  I would love to have some more.  Those beautiful little cards reinforce the huge influence we have within our family circle and the wider community."   Jolene Irving - FV Response Co-ordinator
