Family and Community Services works in partnership with families and communities in the Southern Region.
Our region
Family and Community Services Southern region covers the whole of the South Island.
Our activities
We work to make a difference to the lives of families in the South Island
We do this by:
- supporting the following Community Response Forums: Canterbury, West Coast/ Tasman/Marlborough and Otago/Southland.
- supporting the Chairs of Strengthening Families Local Management Groups and the collaborative case work with which they are involved.
- funding and monitoring the services of a wide range of community organisations delivering social services across the region
- administering regional panel processes associated with the Community Response Fund
