Whānau Toko I Te Ora (WTITO)

This is a parenting programme for Māori whānau delivered by the Māori Women’s Welfare League. The programme is delivered in eight regions across the country.  Whānau workers work closely with whānau to support them to make changes and to support children’s learning and development.

This programme is for whānau with children under five years old who have high needs. Whānau are usually referred to the Māori Women’s Welfare League branch in the area by Māori community networks, community and government agencies, and other professionals.

If you are interested in finding out more about this programme, contact your local Māori Women’s Welfare League branch, or their national office by sending an email to mwwl@mwwl.org.nz.
