Innovation and Collaboration
The Community Response Fund accepts applications from providers who come up with innovative ways to respond to the increased need for services as a result of the current economic environment.
Research has demonstrated that real change occurs when organisations go outside their own walls to find creative ways to enlist others to help.
Under the Fund’s criteria an innovative response is one that involves one or more providers working in a different way to more effectively and efficiently meet needs.
In particular, the Fund will support collaboration that more effectively meets needs while encouraging the best use of government and community resources. This includes sharing resources, systems, and infrastructure to maximise the amount of funding that supports direct service provision.
Only new innovative or collaborative initiatives will be considered.
