Family fun and activities

Spending time with your kids shows them that you love them. Family fun does not need to be expensive, and you can find lots of activities and adventures in your home or your town.

Find things that the whole family can do together – having fun together is a great way to bond with your kids. Taking your kids to the park is a fun and free way to spend time together. Or take a walk around your neighbourhood, looking at plants or animals that you see along the way. Young kids are naturally curious so will find lots of things to look at.

You can go to the library or museum – they often have children’s activities during school holidays. And most towns have a park or recreation area where you and your kids can play – or just play cricket in your own back yard. Get the kids to help you make playdough and monsters.
