Funding Information Service
A not-for-profit organisation collecting and distributing information about funding. There are three separate searchable computer databases: FundView (grants from trusts and foundations), BreakOut (grants for individuals) and CorporateCitizens (a directory of corporate community involvement).
Fundraising Institute of New Zealand
An association for people committed to helping others in the charitable sector. The Institute offers professional development, networking and promotional opportunities.

Unitec - Graduate Diploma in not-for-profit management
This Diploma is designed for managers and co-ordinators, team leaders, volunteers and board members of not-for-profit organisations. It supports leaders and their organisations in achieving effective management and leadership. Courses are delivered throughout New Zealand.
Legal, tax, financial
Charities Commission
Under the Charities Act 2005, the Charities Commission runs a registration and monitoring system for charitable organisations. It also provides support and education to the charitable sector on good governance and management.
Community Law Centres list
Centres provide community provide legal information, advice and assistance, promote legal education and law reform, including offering some support for community organisations.

Research
Australia New Zealand Third Sector Research (ANZTSR)
This network pursues or encourages research into the not-for-profit, community or voluntary organisations and the activities of volunteering and philanthropy in Australia and New Zealand. ANZTSR produce a journal and run biennial conferences.
The Clearing House
Described as a place to find good community research and researchers. Provides research and other resources for the tangata whenua, community and voluntary sector, including a list of researchers.
Community and Voluntary Sector Research Forum, convened by ANGOA
Regular forums are held in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington, for people to share information on research or research-related projects about the community and voluntary sector.
Aotearoa New Zealand Evaluation Association (ANZEA)
A member association for evaluators. ANZEA run an annual conference and provide other member benefits.
Rangahau
A website set up to assist Māori researchers through the rangahau process. Starts with the research idea then covers ethics, methods and analysis. Includes many video interviews.
