The organisations listed below provide links to some refugee and migrant communities. However, not all refugee or migrant communities are part of formal organisational structures.
To find a community association or group from a specific ethnicity or nationality, the most comprehensive source of information is the Office of Ethnic Affairs community directory.
Auckland Refugee Community Coalition
This Coalition advocates for refugee community voices and promotes sustainable integrated refugee resettlement programmes.

Nelson Multi-Ethnic Council

Newcomers Networks
Anyone recently arrived in New Zealand, regardless of age, nationality or language spoken, is welcome at newcomers network. These networks offer friendship and support through various activities. Networks are running in: Selwyn, Hawkes Bay, Nelson, Marlborough, Rotorua and Whakatane.
