Recognised Sports
A list of national sports organisations that are recognised by SPARC, and the contact details of these organisations for more information. This list can be used to identify new areas of interest for your young person, and find out what organised activities might be offered in your area.

Provided by SPARC (Sport and Recreation New Zealand), an organisation dedicated to getting New Zealanders moving, including everything from supporting elite athletes to getting out into local communities and encouraging people to get active.

Sportfit Overview
Provides an overview of the Sportfit programme, designed to encourage secondary students to be physically active and develop their skills. Includes training in sports skills, leadership skills, inspires students through meetings with sports ‘ambassadors’, and recognises our future champions.
